Newsletter Number Five

12 Jul 2013

Check your inboxes because newsletter number five was sent out tonight. Lots of exciting news too - congratulations to the winners of our early bird competitions: Lycurgon who has won and brand new Magellan eXplorist 310 GPS unit and Moneydork, CaligulaNZ and evilno9 who have each bagged a $200 voucher with Tours Direct! We also welcome three new sponsors into the family - Magellan as a gold level sponsor, and Geostuff.com.au and Formula E both coming in as silver sponsors. We've also announced three new competitions, all of which will involve all of you voting for the winners at the mega!

The early bird registration period may have finished but that doesn't mean you've missed out at all. There's still time to register for the NZ Mega 2013 event - just head on over to our registration page and fill in your details. The sooner you register the better!

Newsletter Number Four

22 May 2013

We are another month closer to the NZ Mega 2013 event and it is full steam ahead! It has been about a month since our last newsletter so it is time to give you an update of how things are going (hint: they are going well). Ladies and gentlemen, here is the fourth edition of our newsletter.

Auckland 2013 Geocoins Landed!

21 May 2013

Today we checked at the post office and there was a very heavy box waiting for us - yes, you guessed it, the Auckland 2013 Geocoins shipment has arrived! This means two things: We can start sending out the pre-ordered coins for those who have opted for shipping, and also we can make an announcement...

We've added two limited editions of the Auckland 2013 Geocoin to the store. There's a limited edition (LE) in polished copper, just 35 coins made, and an extremely limited edition (XLE) in naked antique gold, limited to only 15 coins. You need to be in quick to grab one of these!

Geocaching on TV!

01 May 2013

You may or may not have seen it but this morning geocaching was featured in a spot on the breakfast show on TV One. Sarah Putt, editor of Computerworld magazine, introduced the hosts and viewers to geocaching as a great activity to get the kids outside during the school holidays (of course we know that it's just plain old great for all ages) and even the NZ Mega 2013 event got a plug - we're famous!
