Usage of Mascot Image or Logo

Use of the NZ Mega 2020 mascot image or logo is by license under Creative Commons "Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike". This allows for the mascot logo and image to be used, modfied and built upon so long as the new work is attributed, carries the same license and is not sold or used for any commercial purpose without written permission from NZ Mega 2020.

Cancellation and Refunds

Due to the non-profit nature of the NZ Mega 2020 event, and budgeting/pre-ordering based on registration packs and other event merchandise sales, it is not possible to offer refund for cancellation of such purchases. For cancellations notified prior to 2 months before the event, NZ Mega 2020 will endeavour to refund after the event if funds permit (prior to any remaining excess funds being donated to a charity and/or passed to the next mega organising team). There can be no refunds for cancellations made after 2 months before the start of the event.

Competitions and Prizes

NZ Mega 2020 and its nominated volunteers will officiate over any competitions and prize awards, and its decision is final on all matters. NZ Mega 2020 may alter competitions, rules and prizes as it deems necessary. NZ Mega 2020 reserves the right to disqualify any player or team it deems to be competing outside the rules or otherwise unfairly.

All prizes are distributed on the basis that NZ Mega 2020 does not warrant their use for any purpose. An warranties or guarantees lie with the supplier and/or manufacture of the prizes.

Sale of Goods/Services at NZ Mega 2020

The sale of any goods or services at the mega venue, or any satellite events, is prohibited unless under the permission of NZ Mega 2020.

Access to the Venue

Attendees of NZ Mega 2020 may enter and remain inside the venue only during the posted opening hours. Attendees will only be allowed inside the venue if they have completed registration formailities as defined for this event. After registering on site and receiving a registration pack (if applicable), attendees will show their name badge/lanyards to gain entrance. Outside purchased food may not be brought into nor consumed in the venue. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into nor consumed at the venue.

Code of Conduct

All attendees of the NZ Mega 2020 event and satellite events are expected to behave in a civilised and respectful manner towards each other, the event volunteers and the event organisers. Should the conduct of any individual be deemed in appropriate by NZ Mega 2020, the individual will be warned and may be removed from the venue. The safety and security of the event attendees and the venue are a top priority and any individual deemed to be threatening these may be removed without warning. NZ Mega 2020 practices a zero tolerance policy on violence, drugs and alcohol abuse. Attendees shall not cause damage to any property at the venue or elsewhere. In the event of damage occurring, this shall be notified to an event organiser immediately. Individuals involved in causing any damage will be solely held financially responsible for the rectification and repair of the damage.

Non-Profit Zero Benefit Declaration

No individual or group of individuals involved in the organisation or running of NZ Mega 2020 may profit or benefit in any way. All proceeds of registration packs, merchandise sales and sponsorship (whether sponsorship consists solely or partly as cash) are to be spent on NZ Mega 2020 expenses, activities and prizes, with any and all remaining excess funds (if any) being distributed to one or more charities nominated at or prior to the event and/or distributed to the next mega event organising team in NZ. All prizes donated to NZ Mega 2020, or provided as sponsorship, will be awarded to attendees. The organising team is not eligible for any prizes.
